Many people thought that nail cutting is so simple. Just get a nail cutter and clip-clip-clip... NO!! That's so wrong. Our nails are so unique that most nail clippers/ nail cutters that cannot fit to cut the nail tips at one shot neither it should cut in the wrong way.
Nail cutting is so basic yet so important and fundamental for healthy nail growth. Wrong cutting method will weaken nails and cause unnecessary breakage on nail.
Here's the correct way:
1. Before cutting nail, remove all nail polishes, grit on nail bed.
2. Sanitation nail cutting tools (It would be best to have personal nail cutter)
3. Clip the right side nail tip from the centre with left side of the nail clipper. Then clip the left side from the centre with the right side of the clipper. The tip will be clipped off.
4. Trim the centre.
5. Repeat steps to shorten the tips to the length you desired.
6. Remember to trim 1mm of tip at a time.
